Lorie

This lovely two-piece walking dress was created from new cotton calico.  The fabric has a black background with taupe and cream colored roses.  The dress is trimmed with taupe braid and pearl buttons.  The skirt is gored and is very full and features a train in back.

Both the jacket and skirt are fully lined.

A matching bonnet was created using vintage black wool and vintage millinery flowers.  Some of the calico from the dress was used to trim the bonnet.

          

        

 

This latest creation was made for a lovely china doll in Georgia.  Hope you like it Lorie!
