The dress was quite elaborate, made with antique aqua colored silk, with lace net sleeves, an antique lace collar, and lace on the front and at the skirt.  Trimmed at the skirt with antique silk trim. 

Sometimes I will use a vintage hat to make a doll bonnet.  I can get two or three doll bonnets from one vintage hat, depending on the size.  This is just such a bonnet.  The exterior is from a vintage hat from the 40's or 50s.  The interior is antique aqua silk and is trimmed with the same trimming as the skirt of the dress and an antique ribbon bow.

These shoes were made from the same aqua silk as the dress and have antique French buckles. 

Silk stockings completed this ensemble.  This silk knit has a wonderful sheen to it and is
perfect for  stockings. 

This pretty ensemble went to a collector in Ireland.
