These plainer dresses are perfect for ladies and wooden dolls such as the Mason Taylor shown here.  This dress is made from antique reproduction fabric.  I love working with these fabrics as they truly capture the look of the time.  They are true reproductions of antique fabrics.  Fabrics from the time of the Civil War are hard to come by, though I do have a small supply.  The reproduction fabric offers a nice and less expensive alternative.
