Darling Dress & Bonnet, circa 1915

This darling dress was created using a copy of an original pattern.  I used antique fabric that is a wonderful cotton print with a ridge effect woven into the fabric.  The dress has three box pleats in front, with white antique cotton inside the pleats.  The same white cotton is used for the belt and the rim on the hat.  This dress is almost completely sewn by hand, with French seams.  The sleeves have tiny pintucks.  Really a sweet little dress!
