I specialize
in bonnets,
wigs and

treasured
antique and

reproduction
dolls.
Are you

I make
bonnets in
all
different
sizes, from
the tiniest
of the tiny,
to large
bonnets for
bebes and
exquisite
French
Fashions. When I
create my
bonnets, I
like to use
old or
vintage
materials.
If not, I
will only
use
materials
that were
available at
the time
your doll
was created;
silks,
cottons,
batiste,
linen, etc.
I will never
use
polyester or
plastic on
anything I
make.
What about
Wigs? I
have been
making wigs
for years.
I use
genuine
mohair.
Occasionally
I will
acquire an
old piece of
lambskin and
have made
skin wigs as
well.
Shoes are
another
specialty.
I use
leather,
oilcloth and
cloth,
either
vintage or
antique.
No size is
too small or
too large.
I make
heeled
slippers for
your finest
lady to
dance the
night away,
or high-top
boots for
your German
girl.
My latest
endeavor --
Accessories
for your
French
Fashion,
including
sewing and
grooming
necessaires,
carpet bags
and valises,
as well as
travel rolls
and
blankets.
About the
lady in the
photograph
above...For
years I have
been using
old
photographs
of people I
didn't know,
and realized
I had some
photos of
one of my
ancestors
who was very
photogenic.
My great
great Aunt
Nora now
graces the
top of my
website and
I hope to
use more
photographs
of this
lovely lady.
